This Privacy Policy describes how Kamil Domanski ("I", "Me", "The Developer", "We", or "Us") collects, uses, and discloses information when you use the ClothDecode: Fabric Identifier mobile application ("App" or "Service").
ClothDecode does not require you to create an account. You can use the App after completing the onboarding process and subscribing through the paywall. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information for account purposes.
When you use the fabric identification feature, you take or upload a photo of a fabric or garment. This image is sent to our AI provider to generate a fabric identification result. Images are also stored securely on Firebase so that you can access your identification history within the App. You can delete your history at any time from within the App.
We may automatically collect certain usage data, such as device type, operating system version, app version, and anonymized usage statistics. This data helps us improve the App and fix bugs. It does not identify you personally.
Subscription and purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not receive or store your payment details. We may receive a non-identifiable confirmation that a subscription is active in order to unlock premium features.
The App uses artificial intelligence (AI) to identify fabrics from photos. To provide this functionality, images you submit are processed by third-party AI services. By using the App, you consent to your images being transmitted to these AI providers solely for the purpose of fabric identification. We do not sell your images or use them to train AI models without your explicit consent.
Please note: AI results are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy of fabric identifications. See our Terms of Use for more details.
We use the information we collect to:
The App may use third-party services for AI processing, analytics, or crash reporting. These providers have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them. We only share data with third parties as necessary to operate the Service.
Images you submit and their corresponding fabric identification results are stored on Firebase to power your in-app history feature. You can delete your history at any time from within the App, which will permanently remove your images and results from our servers. Anonymized usage data may be retained for a reasonable period to help us improve the App.
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that a child under 13 has submitted personal data, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
We take reasonable measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
